Loft apartments in Houston, Tx have seen a major surge in popularity and as a result we have seen a surge in construction with apartment communities like Sawyer Heights Lofts and Ventura Lofts in the Houston area. These loft apartments have fancy finishes including polished stained concrete flooring and tall ceilings. We did want to point out that there are several older loft apartments that should not be forgotten about. A few of these loft apartments have units that number in the fifties. I wanted to point out a hidden loft apartment on the East side of Downtown Houston. Dakota Lofts is a 53 units complex constructed in 1993. There are two floor plan styles available(800 and 1700 square feet respectively) and this is a Randall Davis Development. If you want to be located near lots of shopping and dining this is NOT the place for you. Its pretty desolate down here. But if this is what your looking for this might be perfect for you.
Humble Tower apartments may not have lofts in the name but I can assure you its more loft like than you may know. Once you view the gorgeous hardwood flooring and floor to ceiling windows you may want to lease the property immediately. The roof has a spectacular sparkling blue pool for your enjoyment. This is what a true loft should entail. Tall ceilings, wide open spaces, and hardwood flooring is pertinent for one who truly desire a loft property.
Now some apartment complexes will state that they have loft apartments too. Properties such as the Rincon apartments state they offer loft apartments but it simply is a spiral staircase up to a small room that usually is hot I might add. Lofts are usually only found in a downtown area; however; a few builders have had the courage to construct loft apartments near residential neighborhoods.
